Chucks Classic Crispy Chicken Burger

25g of protein
17mins

Ingredients

1 sesame brioche bun

1 Chucks frozen crispy chicken fillet

1 handful of salad leaves

1 tomato, sliced

1 tablespoon mayonnaise (or you can use more because it’s your burger!)

1 tablespoon ranch dressing

STEP 1

Preheat your air fryer to 170°C.

STEP 2

Place 1 Chucks frozen crispy chicken fillet in the air fryer basket in a single layer, don't overlap or stack.

STEP 3

Cook for 14 minutes, turning halfway through. While the fillet is cooking, prep your salad leaves and tomato slices, and lightly toast the base of 2 sesame brioche buns in a dry pan for extra crunch.

STEP 4

Remove the fillet from the air fryer and check it is piping hot all the way through and perfectly crispy on the outside.

STEP 5

Assemble the burger: Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on the base of the top bun. Layer up 1 handful of salad leaves, add ranch on top, place the crispy chicken fillet, top with a few slices of tomato tomato, sliced on the base and the sauced bun lid.

STEP 6

Serve and enjoy: Serve straight away with your favourite side of chips, or enjoy it just as it is.

Notes:

Toasting the bun base in a dry pan is a small step that makes a big difference — it adds crunch and stops the bottom going soggy from the sauces. Don't skip it!
